CHILD SAFETY SEATS 7 Although one of CITROËN's main criteria when designing your vehicle, the safety of your children also depends on you.
CHILD SAFETY Passenger airbag OFF Refer to the advice given on the label present on both sides of the passenger's sun visor. 7 To assure the safety of your child, you must deactivate the passenger's front airbag when you install a child seat in the rearwards facing position on the front passenger's seat. Otherwise, there is a risk that the child could be seriously injured or killed if the airbag were deployed.
CHILD SAFETY CHILD SEATS RECOMMENDED BY CITROËN CITROËN offers a complete range of recommended child seats which are secured using a three point seat belt: Group 0+: from birth to 13 kg Groups 1, 2 and 3: from 9 to 36 kg L1 "RÖMER Baby-Safe Plus" Installed in the rearwards-facing position. L2 "KIDDY Comfort Pro" The impact shield must be used for carrying young children (from 9 to 18 kg).
CHILD SAFETY INSTALLING CHILD SEATS ATTACHED USING THE SEAT BELT In accordance with European regulations, this table indicates the options for installing child seats secured using a seat belt and universally approved (a) in accordance with the weight of the child and the seat in the vehicle.
CHILD SAFETY ADVICE ON CHILD SEATS 7 The incorrect installation of a child seat in a vehicle compromises the child's protection in the event of an accident. Remember to fasten the seat belts or the child seat harnesses keeping the slack relative to the child's body to a minimum, even for short journeys. When installing a child seat using the seat belt, ensure that the seat belt is tightened correctly on the child seat and that it secures the child seat firmly on the seat of your vehicle.
CHILD SAFETY "ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS Your vehicle is approved to the new ISOFIX regulations. The seats represented below, are fitted with regulation ISOFIX mountings. There are 3 rings for each seat: - 2 rings A, located between the backrest and the seat cushion, identified by a label, - a ring B, located in the roof, with the TOP TETHER logo, for fixing the top tether belt.
CHILD SAFETY This ISOFIX mounting system provides reliable, safe and fast fitting of the child seat in your vehicle. ISOFIX child seats are fitted with two latches which are secured easily on these rings A. APPROVED FOR YOUR VEHICLE RÖMER Duo Plus ISOFIX (size category B1) Group 1: from 9 to 18 kg Some also have a top tether belt which can be attached to ring B. 7 To attach this belt, raise the head restraint of the seat, then pass the buckle between the rods.
CHILD SAFETY TABLE OF SEATING POSITIONS FOR ISOFIX CHILD SEATS In accordance with European Regulations, this table indicates the options for installing ISOFIX child seats on seats in the vehicle fitted with ISOFIX mountings. In the case of universal and semi-universal ISOFIX child seats, the ISOFIX size category, determined by a letter from A to G, is indicated on the child seat next to the ISOFIX logo. Weight of the child/indicative age Less than 10 kg (group 0) Up to approx.

Each lateral airbag is fitted in the seat backrest frame, door side. The lateral airbag inflates between the hip and shoulder of the front occupant of the vehicle and the corresponding door trim panel.
SAFETY For the airbags to be fully effective, observe the following safety rules: Sit in a normal upright position. Wear a correctly adjusted seat belt. Do not leave anything between the occupants and the airbags (a child, pet, object...). This could hamper the operation of the airbags or injure the occupants. After an accident or if the vehicle has been stolen or broken into, have the airbag systems checked. All work on the airbag system must be carried out by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
