vehiclerollsover,theairbagsmaynot
bedeployed.
In the event of a rear or front collision,
noneofthelateralairbagsisdeployed.
Systemcontributingtowardsgreaterprotection
forthethedriverandpassengers(withthe
exceptionoftherearcentrepassenger)inthe
eventofaserioussideimpactinordertolimit
theriskofinjurytothesideofthehead.
Eachcurtainairbagisbuiltintothepillarsand
theupperpassengercompartmentarea.

Deployment
Thecurtainairbagisdeployedatthesame
timeasthecorrespondinglateralairbaginthe
eventofaserioussideimpactappliedtoallor
partofthesideimpactzoneB,perpendicular
tothelongitudinalcentrelineofthevehicleona
horizontalplaneanddirectedfromtheoutside
towardstheinsideofthevehicle.
Thecurtainairbaginflatesbetweenthefrontor
rearoccupantofthevehicleandthewindows.
Ifthiswarninglampcomesoninthe
instrumentpanel,youmustcontact
aCITROËNdealeroraqualified
workshoptohavethesystemchecked.
Operating fault
Theairbagsmaynolongerbedeployedinthe
eventofaseriousimpact.
