Fueltank
Capacity of the tank:
- Petrol:approximately50litres.
- Diesel:approximately45or50litres(dependingonversion).
Low fuel level Refuelling
Whenthelowfuellevelisreached,
thiswarninglampintheinstrument
panelcomeson,accompaniedby
anaudiblewarning,amessageand
thelastbarofthefuelgaugeflashes
inred.
Torefuelincompletesafety:
F You must switch off the engine.
F Openthefillerflap.
Alabelontheinsideofthefuelfillerflap
remindsyouofthetypeoffueltouse,
dependingonyourenginetype.
Additionsoffuelmustbeofatleast5litresto
beregisteredbythefuelgauge.
Whenitfirstcomeson,about 5 litres of fuel
remaininthetank.
Untilsufficientfuelhasbeenadded,this
warninglampappearseverytimetheignition
isswitchedon,accompaniedbyanaudible
warningandamessage.Thisaudiblewarning
andmessagearerepeatedwithincreasing
frequencyasthefuelleveldropstowards"0".
Refuelassoonaspossibletoavoidrunning
out.
Openingthefillercapmayresultinaninrushof
air.Thisisentirelynormalandresultsfromthe
sealingofthefuelsystem.
With Stop & Start, never refuel with the
systeminSTOPmode;youmustswitch
offtheignitionwiththekey.
