Bonnet
F Openthelefthandfrontdoor.
The location of the interior bonnet
releaseleverpreventsopeningofthe
bonnetwhenthelefthandfrontdoor
isshut.
Whentheengineishot,handlethe
exteriorsafetycatchandthestaywith
care(riskofburns),usingtheprotected
area.
Whenthebonnetisopen,takecarenot
todamagethesafetycatch.
F Liftthesafetycatchandraisethebonnet.
F Unclipthestayfromitshousingandplace
itinthesupportslottoholdthebonnet
open.
Opening
F Pullthereleaselever,locatedatthebottom
ofthedooraperture,towardsyou.
The cooling fan may start after
switching off the engine: take care
with articles and clothing that might
be caught by the fan blades.
Donotopenthebonnetundervery
windyconditions.
Closing
F Takethestayoutofitssupportslot.
F Clipthestaybackintoitshousing.
F Lowerthebonnetandreleaseitattheend
ofitstravel.
F Pullonthebonnettocheckthatithas
latchedcorrectly.
Because of the presence of electrical
equipmentunderthebonnet,itis
recommendedthatexposuretowater
(rain,washing,...)belimited.
Beforedoinganythingunderthe
bonnet, switch off the Stop & Start
systemtoavoidanyriskofinjury
resultingfromanautomaticchangeto
STARTmode.
