In the event of a breakdown
Removing a wheel
Parking the vehicle
Immobilisethevehiclewhereitdoesnot
blocktraffic:thegroundmustbelevel,
stableandnotslippery.
Applytheparkingbrake,switchoffthe
ignitionandengagefirstgeartoblock
thewheels.
Checkthattheparkingbrakewarning
lampsintheinstrumentpanelcomeon.
Theoccupantsmustgetoutofthe
vehicleandwaitwheretheyaresafe.
Ensurethatthejackiscorrectly
positionedatoneofthevehicle's
jackingpoints.
Incorrectuseofthejackcouldcause
thevehicletodrop.
Nevergounderneathavehicleraised
usingajack;useanaxlestand.

F Removethewheelboltcover(s)usingthe
tool 3(dependingonversion).
F Slackentheboltsusingthewheelbrace1
only.
Donotuse:
- thejackforanyotherpurposethan
liftingthevehicle,
- ajackotherthantheonesupplied
bythemanufacturer.
Thejackmustonlybeusedtochangea
wheelwithadamagedtyre.
Thejackdoesnotrequireany
maintenance.
