Front seat belts
Thefrontseatbeltsarefittedwitha
pretensioningandforcelimitingsystem.
Thissystemimprovessafetyinthefront
seatsintheeventofafrontorsideimpact.
Dependingontheseverityoftheimpact,the
pretensioningsysteminstantlytightenstheseat
beltsagainstthebodyoftheoccupants.
Thepretensioningseatbeltsareactivewhen
theignitionison.
Theforcelimiterreducesthepressureofthe
seat belt on the chest of the occupant, so
improvingtheirprotection.
Fastening
