Changing a wheel
PUNCTURE REPAIR KIT
This consists of :
- a puncture repair bottle

, containing the
filling liquid, fitted with :
a filling tube
B
,
a sticker
C
indicating “max. 80 km/h”,
which the driver should place in a
visible location on the dashboard, once
the tyre has been repaired,
- a compressor
D
fitted with a pressure
gauge and connectors,
- adaptors for the inflation of the various
components,
- a pair of protective gloves,
- a simple user guide.
This repair kit is available from a CITRN
dealer.
Repair procedure
- Apply the parking brake and engage
neutral.
- Unscrew the valve cap of the tyre to be
repaired.
- Pull out the filling tube

and screw the
band

on to the tyre valve.
- Ensure that the compressor’s on/off
switch
F
is in position
“0
(off).
- Start the engine.
- Put the plug

into the vehicle’s nearest
12V accessories socket.
- Put the compressor’s on/off switch
F
to
position
“1
(on).
- Inflate the tyre to 3 bars.
To obtain a more accurate reading, you are
advised to check the pressure value using
the pressure gauge

, with the compressor
switched off.
It is to be used for repairing holes of a
maximum diameter of 4mm, and only
located on the tyre bead or tread. Do not
remove any foreign bodies or objects which
have entered the tyre.
