AUDIO SOLD AT RETAIL:
Clarion Marine warrants this product to be free of defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of one ( 1) year from the original date
of purchase .
Th is warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original retail
purchaser from an authorized Clar i on Marine dea l er in the USA .
Should service be necessary under this warranty for any reason
due to manufacturing defect or malfunction , Clarion Marine will ( at
its discretion) , repair or replace the defective product with new or
remanufac t ured pro d uc t at no ch arge .
Note : Products purchased from unauthorized dealers are not
covered under warranty .
Damage caused by the following is not covered under warranty :
accident , misuse , physical abuse , product mod i ficat i on or neglect ,
failure to follow installation instruct i ons , unauthorized repair attempts ,
misrepresentations by t he seller . L oudspeakers with thermal or over -
excursion damage are not cove r ed under warranty. This warranty
doe s not cover incide n tal , accide n tal or co n sequential damages and
does not cov er the cos t of r emoving or reinst a lling products. Cosme t ic
damage due to improper handling , accide nt or no r mal wea r and tear or
exposure to harsh chemicals is not covered under warranty . JL Audio
will no t be responsible for restoring or mainta i ning custom fin i shes or
cosmetic treatments applied to products .
This warranty is void if the product 's serial
number has been removed, altered or defaced .
Any ap p lica b le implie d wa rr an ties are limi t ed in dur a tion to the period
of the exp r ess warranty as provide d he r ein beginning with t he date of
th e or igin al purchase at retail , and no warranties , wheth er express or
implied , shall apply to this product thereafter . Some states do not allow
limitations on implied warranties , therefore these exclusions may not
ap p ly to you . This warranty gives you specific legal rights , and you may
also have other rights which vary from state to state .
If you need service on your Clarion Marine product:
A ll USA r etail war ranty r etu rn s sh ould be sent to Clar ion Marine freight
p rep ai d through an authorized Clarion Ma r ine dealer and must be
accompanied by proof of purchase (a copy of the original retail sales
receipt.) Direct returns from consumers or non-authorized dealers will
be re f used unless specifically authorized by Clarion Marine wi th a valid
return authorization number. Warranty expiration on products returned
without proof of purchase will be determined from the manufacturing
date code. Coverage may be invalidated as this date is prior to purchase
dat e. Return only defective components. (If one speaker f ails in a
sys te m, re turn only that speaker component, not the enti re system.)
Non-d e fective items received will be returned freight-collect. Customer
is responsible for shipping charges and insurance in sending the
product to Clarion Marine . Freight damage on returns is not covered
under w arranty .
