５-４-１４． NEWS
Function Switch to RADIO NEWS Interruption
Operation
of button
Touch the TI. / NEWS key for more than 0.5sec.
Destination North America ・ Europe ・ Australia
Detail
It will switch NEWS Interruption ON/OFF when you touch the TI. / NEWS key for more than 0.5sec in FM Mode.
It will switch to FM Band and NEWS Interruption will be ON when you touch the TI. / NEWS key for more than
0.5sec in other mode except FM Mode or when POWER is OFF.
BEEP will be sounded when NEWS Interruption starts.
Initial setting is OFF.
It will display 「NEWS ON」/「NEWS OFF」 for 3sec when NEWS Interruption is ON/OFF.
It will not display 「NEWS ON」 when you touch the TI. / NEWS key for more than 0.5sec in other mode except
FM Mode.
It will become NEWS Interruption receiving state when radio station starts to news broadcast in NEWS Interruption
mode.
NEWS Interruption receiving occurs in other mode except AM mode.
NEWS indicator state and dot display will be the following when NEWS Interruption is ON/OFF. (Indicator is off in AM
normally.)

It will return to CD Mode after NEWS Interruption begins and ends in CD Mode.
It will remain FM Mode after NEWS Interruption begins and ends, when you switch NEWS interruption ON in AM
（MW/LW） Mode or POWER OFF Mode.
The operation to release NEWS Interruption is same to TI Interruption.
