Chapter 10 Importing, Exporting, and Printing 119
Printing from Search or Advanced Find
If you want to print a subset of records, you can use search or Advanced Find to narrow
the set of records in a library or collection, and then print the records.
To print a subset of records:
1 Use the search field or Advanced Find to create a subset of records.
See ”Search Field and Advanced Find” on page 25.
• For search, the set of records that matches the criteria is displayed as you
type the search string.
• For Advanced Find, click Find to display the set of records that matches
the criteria.
2 Choose File > Print > Table/Form.
3 Specify which records in the subset to print.
• Select “Selected records only” to print the currently viewed record only
(in form view) or to print all selected records (in table view).
• Select “All displayed records” to print all of the records in the current
subset.
Printing Labels
You can print labels from within Bento.
You can:
• Use information from fields in your own library or a shared library.
• Print up to six lines of information per label. Text can be left-aligned, right-
aligned, or centered on the label.
• Add a picture or a logo to your labels.
• Print labels for selected records.
• Choose font, style, size, and color.
• Specify the label you want to start printing from.
• Preview labels.
• Save label settings for the selected library.
• Export label settings when you export a template. For more information
about exporting templates, see
”Exporting from a Library, Collection, or
Smart Collection” on page 113.
