Files script steps
Files script steps operate on entire files. With Files script steps, you can:
• create a file
• open or close a file
• save a copy of a file
• convert a file to FileMaker Pro
• set multi-user status
• allow users to choose formats for the file
• recover a file

Allows the user to create a new database file.

Description
This script step opens the “Create a new file named:” dialog box. After the user exits the Manage
Database dialog box, the script becomes active again, and if script steps remain, the script
continues. The new database remains open, but not active.
