Customizing FileMaker Pro
This appendix shows you how to customize FileMaker Pro by setting 
application and document preferences for options like: 
1 network protocol and user name 
1 color palette 
1 memory and saving
1 plug-in activation
1 graphics storage
1 actions to perform automatically when opening and closing a file
1 spelling
Setting application preferences
Application preferences apply to any file you open. Preferences 
remain in effect until you change them.
To set application preferences:
1. Choose Edit menu >Preferences > Application.
2. Click a preference tab, then set options according to the sections 
in this appendix.
3. Click OK.
