B. FIRST RING ON/OFF:
This unit will generate the first ring sound even in the Blocked Call mode, you can turn off the first ring sound.
1. Press and hold the AMP button until the LCD display shows RING HI.
2. Press the telephone keypad 3 button or press the arrow cursor up/down.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button.
4. Press the arrow cursor up/down to select the mode. Silent off is the preset mode.
5. Press the SAVE button.
6. Press the AMP button to return to standby mode.
C. SETTING THE TIME AND DATE:
This unit enables to set the Time and Date:
1. Press and hold the AMP button until the LCD display shows RING HI.
2. Press the telephone keypad 4 button or press the arrow cursor up/down.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button. Use the telephone keypad button to enter the month, date, hour,
minute. The cursor moves automatically after entering each item.
4. Press the telephone keypad 1 button for AM or press the telephone keypad 2 button for PM setting.
5. Press the AMP button to return to standby mode.
Note: The Date and Time will automatically set if you have subscribed the Caller ID from your telephone
company.
D. SETTING THE AREA CODE:
This unit enables to set the Area Code.
1. Press and hold the AMP button until the LCD display shows RING HI.
2. Press the telephone keypad 5 button or press the arrow cursor up/down.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button. Use the telephone keypad button to enter the Area Code. (Area Code
should be 3 digits only).
4. Press the SAVE button.
5. Press the AMP button to return to standby mode.
Note: Do not use the Area Code programming if you are required to dial 10 digits (XXX-XXX-XXXX) to dial a
local number.
E. ADJUSTING THE CONTRAST:
This unit enables to select 3 brightness level for the LCD display.
1. Press and hold the AMP button until the LCD display shows RING HI.
2. Press the telephone keypad 6 button or press the arrow cursor up/down.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button.
4. Press the arrow cursor up/down to adjust the brightness of the LCD display. Level 2 is the preset
brightness.
5. Press the SAVE button.
6. Press the AMP button to return to standby mode.
F. SETTING THE PBX NUMBER:
This unit enables to preset the PBX number from 0 - 9 while you are using switchboard system.
1. Press and hold the AMP button until the LCD display shows RING HI.
2. Press the telephone keypad 7 button or press the arrow cursor up/down.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button.
4. Press the arrow cursor up/down to select the desired PBX number. PBX number 9 is the preset
number.
5. Press the SAVE button.
6. Press the AMP button to return to standby mode.
Note: The number programmed here is not active unless PBX mode is ON.
