Configuring the Standalone Assignment List
Manager
The Assignment List Manager lets producers create placeholders for clips,
assign or reassign placeholders to editors, and monitor clip status.
To configure the Assignment List Manager:
1. Click the
Start menu and select Programs | NewsQ Pro | Assignment List
Manager.
The Assignment List Manager appears.
2. Click
Options; the Options window appears:
3. Enter the following system information:

OK.

Setting Description
Database Server Name of the server where the NewsQ Pro database resides
(primary SDB server).
Backup Database Server Name of the server for the backup NewsQ Pro database (hot
standby SDB server).
