Sorting Placeholders by Category
When you create a new placeholder, the Category field determines which edit
workstations see the placeholder. If you select
All, your news editors also need
to select
All in their Assignment List Managers to view the assignment.
You can sort a placeholder at any time by doing the following:
1. Double-click the clip you want to reassign.
The Clip Properties window appears.
2. Select a new editor, workstation name, or other category from the
Category
list.
3. Click OK.
The placeholder automatically appears on the edit workstation.
Viewing Clip Categories
In the Assignment List Plug-in, you can view the placeholders and clips based
on Category.
To change the Category of clips to view:
• Select a category from the
Category list.
The list displays only the placeholders and clips in that category.
Select
All to view all assignment placeholders again.
