Restart Procedures
Restart Procedures
There are four ways to reset the CM-4400 controller (these steps are listed
in the preferred order of operation):
1. Selecting the Reboot option in the Jupiter software.
2. Pressing the front panel’s Reset button.
3. Power cycling the CM.
4. Using the Console port.
These steps are described below.
During a restart, the CM will test itself and,
depending on the result, may
request a new download from the file server.
Selecting the Reboot Option
There are two methods to rebooting the Control module, both methods are
described below.
The Configuration Tab
Follow these steps to select the Reboot option:
1. Start the Control Center (Go to Start > Programs > Jupiter Network
Suite > JNS Applications > Control Center).
2. Select the Configuration tab.

3. Click the Reboot button in the middle of the Control Center dialog
(Figure65). This will reset all controllers in the system.
