Changing the default settings

Channel delay
If you use a 5.1-Audio system, you may experience a distortion of
the sound impression caused by the distance differences between
speaker groups and listener. Sounds that should be heard by the
listener at the same time arrive successively.
Here you can delay the output from the central or the rear speakers,
in order to achieve a well balanced sound impression for the listener.
The delay is set in milli-seconds.
1. Use the Cursor Buttons (
, ) to select the menu option
"Channel Delay".
2. Press the Play-button (Fig. 2/27) to confirm your input.
3. Use the Cursor Buttons (
, ) to select the speaker for which
you would like to set the channel delay.
The currently selected speaker is highlighted in yellow.
4. Make the adjustment with the Cursor Buttons
or . Pressing
the Cursor button
reduces the channel delay, pressing the
Cursor button
increases the channel delay.
Equalizer
Sound mode
You can set the frequency response for optimally matching it to a
certain type of music.
1. Choose the menu option "SOUND MODE" with the Cursor
Buttons.
2. Select the desired Sound Mode by moving with the Cursor
Buttons to the corresponding genre, e.g. "POP".
3. Press the Play-button (Fig. 2/27) to confirm your input.
Bass Boost
Activation of the function "Bass Boost" increases the intensity of the
bass.
