| Nord Piano 2 User Manual OS v1.1X 1 Introduction Thank you! Factory programs We’d first like to thank you for purchasing the Nord Piano 2. Our goal when we developed the instrument was to create the best professional, very portable stage piano with an integrated sample synth on the market. We hope that you will have as much fun owning, playing and using the instrument, as we had developing it.
Chapter 2 About the Nord Piano 2 2 About the Nord Piano 2 The Instrument String Resonance To make a great tool we believe that you have to put all the focus on a few important things and that is exactly what we have tried to achieve with the Nord Piano 2.
| Nord Piano 2 User Manual OS v1.1X Pedal Noise with Triple Pedal The Nord Triple Pedal (available separately as an accessory to the Nord Piano 2 HP) offers an unprecedented functionality, with the addition of a dynamic control of the mechanical noise during operation, and the ability for you as a player to use half pedaling and “release and catch again” techniques.
Chapter 3 Panel Overview 3 Panel Overview Program Piano Sample Synth Effects The front panel of the Nord Piano 2 has four main areas, Program, Piano, Sample Synth, and Effects. | Nord Piano 2 User Manual OS v1.1X 5 Getting Started Let’s take a few minutes to get familiar with the Nord Piano 2. The user interface is designed to be as intuitive as possible, and to perform as well as you do in a live situation. We hope that you soon will feel confident in using it, and in this short chapter, we will go through most of the functions. About the programs Edit a program Complete settings of every function on the panel are stored in the Program memory of the Nord Piano 2.
Chapter 5 Getting Started The two banks (A & B) are duplicated when the Nord Piano 2 leaves the factory. This allows you to start storing sounds at once in one of these banks without having to worry that you overwrite something.
