Before Initial Use
CAUTION!
Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied to make sure they are complete (see
the "Items Supplied" chapter); also check for transport damage. If you nd any dam-
age to the components, do not use them (!), but contact the customer service depart-
ment.
2. Remove any lms or stickers that may be present from the device and accessories.
3. Attach the handle rod (2) and the cleaning foot (3) to the main unit (1) (see the “As-
sembly” chapter).
Any water residues in the reservoir are due to the fact that this device has been
tested.
Assembly
CAUTION!
During assembly and dismantling, the device must not be connected to the mains
power and must have been cooled down.
Attaching / Removing the Handle Rod
Insert the end of the handle rod (2) as far as it will go into
the upper opening of the main unit (1). Twist the handle
rod if necessary until the locking lug engages in the open-
ing next to the lower hook for winding up the cable (16).
To detach the handle rod, press the locking lug and as you
do so pull the handle rod out.
Attaching / Detaching the Cleaning Foot
Plug the steam nozzle (13) onto the joint (12) of the clean-
ing foot (3). The locking lug must engage in the opening.
