New Zealand Compliance
In the event of main power failure, INTERACT equipment will become inoperable with regard to
making telephone calls.
All persons using INTERACT equipment for recording telephone conversions shall comply with
New Zealand law, which requires that at least one party to the conversation be aware that the
conversation is being recorded. In addition, the principles enumerated in the Privacy Act of 1993
shall be complied with in respect to the nature of any personal information collected, the purpose
of this collection, how it is used, and what is disclosed to any other party.
