The Info tab contains all of the information for the designated ControLinX. There is a field for the installer to
enter additional information about the device or host system. Table 5-85 provides information on the fields on
the Info tab.
After adjusting information on the Info page, select Apply. The IR/RS232 Settings tab for the ControLinX
hosting Secant displays in the right side of the window (see Figure 5-101).

Tab Selection Description
Info Current IP Address The current IP address of the ControLinX.
Current Subnet Mask The current subnet mask of the ControLinX.
Device Type The type of DigiLinX device that this is.
Model Number The NetStreams ControLinX model number.
Firmware Version The firmware version the device is running.
Device Name Descriptive name the installer assigned to the device when
creating the project.
Override Changes the default device name. Keep unchecked in most
instances.
Serial Number Serial number of the ControLinX.
Device Comments Indicate where the device is installed so that if you need to
return to the installation for service or upgrading devices, you
can have access to this information in the project file.
Device Summary
Service Name A display field used to identify the stream name.
Driver
Specifies the type of driver the CL100 was configured to use.
Control Type
Indicates whether the device is Serial or IR.
Show Advanced Options Normally used for advanced configurations. Typically, the
installer will not use this screen.
