Activate or deactivate the PIN requirement
1. Press to select Menu.
2. Press to highlight Settings, and then select OK.
3. Press to select Phone Settings.
4. Press to highlight Security Settings, and then select OK.
5. Press alphanumeric keys to enter the current phone code,
and then select OK.
The factory default phone code is 1234.
6. Press to select Power On PIN1.
7. Press to highlight one selection:
• To activate a PIN requirement: Highlight ON, select
OK, and then press numeric keys enter the SIM card
password.
• To deactivate the PIN requirement: Highlight OFF,
and then select OK.
• To modify the PIN requirement: Highlight PIN1, and
then select OK.
Note: If you enter the wrong PIN three times, you must contact
your network service provider to request that your phone be
unlocked.
Calling line identication restriction
You can prevent your caller identification from showing on your
call recipients’ phones.
1. Press to select Menu.
2. Press to highlight Settings, and then select OK.
3. Press to highlight Call Settings, and then select OK.
4. Press to highlight Calling Line Identification Restriction,
and then select OK.
5. Press to highlight one selection:
• To set this to the default setting (ID restriction Off):
Highlight Default Setting, and then select OK.
• To turn on restriction of your caller ID: Highlight On,
and then select OK.
