Network service settings
Activate or deactivate Call Barring
This service bars certain types of outgoing or incoming calls from
your phone. You can specify which types of calls to bar.
To activate this requirement, you must enter the SIM card PIN
that was provided with the SIM card. The PIN is different from
your phone code.
1. Press to select Menu.
2. Press to highlight Settings, and then select OK.
3. Press to highlight Network Settings, and then select OK.
4. Press to highlight Call Barring, and then select OK.
5. Press to highlight one selection:
• To bar all outgoing calls: Highlight All Outgoing
Calls.
• To bar all incoming calls: Highlight All Incoming Call.
• To bar incoming calls received if you are in an area
not serviced by your service provider: Highlight In-
coming While Roam.
• To deactivate the Barring function: Highlight Cancel
All, and then press the numeric keys to enter your
SIM card PIN.
6. Press to highlight Check Status (to learn whether the fea-
ture is currently activated), Activate or Deactivate.
If you chose Activate, press numeric keys to enter the
number to which you are forwarding calls.
7. Press to select OK.
