Setting Up and Installing Your Phone Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your new telephone. It has been manufactured to very high quality standards for convenient and reliable service. This telephone can be used with "Call Identification (CALLER ID) Service" and/or "Call Waiting CALLER ID Service" that is provided by your local telephone company. There is a fee for these services by your local telephone company, and they may not be available in all areas.
12. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions: (a) When the power supply cord or plug is damaged or frayed. (b) If liquid has been spilled into the product. (c) If the product has been exposed to rain or water. (d) If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions.

Program your area code (A) After selecting the language, the display flashes "ENTER AREA CODE" and “7 DIGITS DIAL”. #00 (B) If you dial your local calls using 7 digits (e.g., 555_ _ _ 1212), then enter your local area code, press the ENTER AREA CODE Dial button, and go to Step C. 7 DIGITS DIAL If you dial your local calls using 10 digits (e.g., 303555-1212), then enter “000” as the area code for 7 digits dial, and press the Dial button to go to Step C.
Wall Mounting 1. Turn the phone over so that you are looking at the bottom of the phone. Insert tabs at the thin end of the wall mount bracket into the holes at the rear of the phone bottom. Press and latch the tabs at the thicker end of the wall bracket into holes at the front end of phone. The back of the phone should then have two round plastic holes that can be used to hang your phone on the wall. 2. Use the two round holes to hang the phone on the wall plate on your wall.
Adjusting Speakerphone Receiver Volume To adjust the speakerphone receiver volume: 1. Press the Speaker button and listen to the dial tone. 2. Press the Volume up button to increase the receiver volume. 3. Press the Volume down button to decrease the receiver volume. 4. Press the Speaker button when the desired receiver volume is reached.
Using the Telephone Making a Call 1. 2. Pick up the Handset or press the Speaker button, and listen for a dial tone. Using the Keypad, dial the desired telephone number. The number you are dialing will appear on the display as you dial. When making a call or talking on the phone, the "In Use" light will turn on indicating the phone is in use. This light will also be on whenever another phone on the same phone line is in use.
Switching Between the Handset and the Speakerphone To switch a call between the Handset and the Speakerphone during a conversation: 1. 2. 3. 4. While talking on the handset, press the Speaker button to activate the speakerphone. The call can now be heard from the speakerphone. While talking on the speakerphone, simply lift up the handset and the call will be transferred to the handset and will no longer be heard on the speakerphone. Hang up the handset.
Storing a New Number and Name in the Memory Buttons To store a new number and name in the memory buttons: 1. Press the Save button when the display shows no caller’s number or name. The “SAVE TO?” prompt appears on the display. 2. Press the memory button where you wish to store this telephone number (e.g., M1). The “ENTER NUMBER>“ prompt appears on the display. 3. Use the keypad to enter the telephone number, 4. including the long distance prefix that you need to dial this number.
CALLER ID CALLER ID Service and Call Waiting CALLER ID Service The "CALLER Identification" service (CALLER ID) allows the caller’s phone number and/or name to be shown on the display as the call comes in before you pick up the phone. In order to use this feature, YOU MUST FIRST SUBSCRIBE TO THE CALLER ID SERVICE provided by your local telephone company. The name of this service may vary depending on your telephone company.
Viewing the CALLER ID List This CALLER ID telephone automatically stores in the #80 Call Memory the CALLER ID information of the last 99 calls received. It keeps track of all calls received, END OF RECORD whether they were answered or not. The oldest call in the Call Memory is always call #1. The highest numbered call (or call #99 if the Call Memory is full) is always the most recent call.
Deleting All Calls from the CALLER ID List To delete all the calls stored in Call Memory at once, press and hold the Delete button for 5 seconds. The entire list of calls will be completely cleared and the display shows "DEL ALL!”. . #00 DEL ALL! Using Call Waiting CALLER ID If another call comes in during a conversation, your phone will display the "WAITING" message in the upper right hand corner and the incoming caller's information will be displayed on the screen. To pick up the waiting call: 1.
listen to your new message, the message waiting indicators will turn off automatically after a short delay. If these indicators remain on even after you have listened to all your messages, you can manually clear the indicators by pressing the Delete button when “MESSAGES” and “NEW CALLERS” are displayed on LCD, alternatively. UNAVAILABLE, PRIVATE CALL and ERROR Messages Certain messages may appear instead of a caller's name and/or number: 1.
In Case of Difficulty Resetting Your Telephone's Programming Electrostatic or power surge (e.g., from lightning) may cause the phone to lock up. There are two ways to reset this phone. 1. Basic reset • Disconnect the telephone line cord from the phone. • Disconnect the AC adapter from the phone. • Press the ▼ button or the ▲ button two times. Wait for 10 seconds; • Reconnect the telephone line cord and the AC adapter to the phone.
Troubleshooting If your product does not work properly, try the following suggestions before seeking repair assistance: • • Check all line cord connections at the wall jack and at the telephone. "CALLER Identification" is a subscription service. Non-subscribers of this service cannot receive CALLER Identification information. Make sure that the telephone company has activated your service. • The telephone receives call information between the first and second ring.

4. Sélection de la langue Lorsque le téléphone est mis sous tension la première fois, l'écran affichera le message clignotant « SELECT LANGUAGE » (Sélection de la langue) et « >ENG ESP FRA ». #00 SELECT LANGUAGE 1 2 3 >ENG ESP FRA Pour sélectionner l'anglais, appuyez sur « 1 ». Pour sélectionner l'espagnol, appuyez sur « 2 » . Pour sélectionner le français, appuyez sur « 3 » . Ensuite, appuyez sur la touche Dial (composition) pour confirmer la sélection. 5.

Réglage de l’angle de visionnement de l’affichage Vous pouvez optimiser l'écran ACL en réglant l'angle de visionnement. Pour régler l'angle de visionnement de l'écran ACL, déplacez le rebord extérieur de l’écran ACL vers le haut ou le bas. Réglage du contraste de l'écran L'affichage peut être réglé en fonction de la luminosité de la pièce et de vos préférences d'affichage.
Édition d'un numéro de téléphone avant de composer Vous pouvez inscrire le numéro de téléphone que vous désirez composer avant de décrocher le combiné ou d'appuyer sur la touche du haut-parleur. 1. Utilisez le clavier pour inscrire le numéro de téléphone. Le numéro s'affiche à l'écran. 2. Si vous inscrivez un ou plusieurs chiffres erronés, appuyez sur la touche delete (supprimer), une ou plusieurs fois pour effacer les chiffres incorrects.
3. 4. Raccrochez le combiné. Le fait de raccrocher le combiné ne mettra pas fin à l'appel lorsque le haut-parleur est activé. Il faut appuyer sur la touche du haut-parleur pour mettre fin à l'appel. Si le haut-parleur n'est pas activé, vous n'avez qu'à raccrocher le combiné pour mettre fin à l'appel. Recomposition Vous pouvez, par une simple pression de la touche Redial (recomposition), recomposer le dernier numéro que vous avez appelé.

Afficheur Services d'identification de l'appelant et de l’afficheur de l’appel en attente Le service d’identification de l’appelant (afficheur) permet d’afficher à l’écran le numéro de téléphone ou le nom de la partie qui vous appelle lors de la réception d’un appel, avant que vous preniez cet appel. Afin de pouvoir utiliser cette caractéristique, VOUS DEVEZ D’ABORD VOUS ABONNER AU SERVICE D'IDENTIFICATION DE L'APPELANT que fournit votre compagnie de téléphone locale.
(p. ex. :« #1 »). Le numéro de téléphone d’un appel en attente est également enregistré dans la mémoire des appels, comme les autres appels. Appuyez une fois sur la touche Delete (supprimer) et l’appel sélectionné sera effacé de la mémoire des appels. L'écran affichera « DELETED » (supprimé).
Lorsque vous avez des messages en attente dans votre boîte vocale, les inscriptions « MESSAGES » et « NEW CALLERS » (total des nouveaux appels) s'afficheront en alternance sur l'écran et une icône en forme d'enveloppe clignotera. Accès à la messagerie vocale Veuillez suivre les directives de votre fournisseur de messagerie vocale pour accéder à celle-ci.
En cas de difficultés Réinitialiser la programmation de votre téléphone L’électricité statique ou les pointes de tension (p. ex. produit par la foudre) peuvent provoquer un verrouillage du téléphone. Il existe deux façons de réinitialiser votre téléphone. 1. Réinitialisation de base • Débranchez le fil téléphonique de l'appareil. • Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation de c.a. • Appuyez sur la touche ▼ ou sur la touche ▲ deux fois.

Configuración e instalación del teléfono Introducción Felicitaciones por la compra de su nuevo teléfono, el cual ha sido fabricado de acuerdo a normas de muy alta calidad que hacen que tenga un funcionamiento práctico y seguro. Este teléfono se encuentra provisto de un identificador de llamadas que permite utilizarlo con los servicios de identificación de llamadas ingresantes y/o en espera brindados por la compañía telefónica de su localidad.

Si no puede resolver el problema, o si el aparato está averiado, consulte la sección "Garantía limitada" de este manual. Selección de idioma Cuando el teléfono recibe alimentación de corriente por primera vez, la pantalla presenta en forma intermitente el mensaje SELECT LANGUAGE (seleccionar idioma) y >ENG ESP FRA (inglés, español, francés). #00 SELECT LANGUAGE 1 2 3 >ENG ESP FRA Para seleccionar inglés, oprima el botón 1. Para seleccionar español, oprima el botón 2.
6. Para guardar estas configuraciones de funcionamiento, oprima el botón Save (grabación). Tras la instalación, descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y escuche el tono de discado. Si no hay tono de discado, verifique que todos los cables estén bien conectados en sus respectivos terminales. #00 720 ENTER AREA CODE 10 DIGITS DIAL Nota: la programación del código de área le permitirá discar fácilmente los números que se encuentran en la lista del identificador de llamadas.
Regulación de la inclinación de la pantalla Para obtener una visualización óptima de la pantalla, regule su grado de inclinación. Regule la inclinación de la pantalla, moviendo hacia arriba o hacia abajo su borde posterior. Regulación del contraste de la pantalla Es posible adaptar la presentación visual de la pantalla según el nivel de la luz ambiental y las preferencias del usuario.
Uso del teléfono Ejecución de una llamada 1. 2. Descuelgue el auricular u oprima el botón del altoparlante y espere hasta escuchar el tono de discado. Cuando haga una llamada o converse por el teléfono, se encenderá la luz que indica que el aparato se encuentra en uso. Esta luz también se mantendrá encendida cuando esté en uso otro teléfono anexado a la misma línea telefónica.

IDENTIFICADOR DE LLAMADAS Servicio de identificación de llamadas ingresantes y en espera El servicio de identificación de llamadas (IDENTIFICADOR DE LLAMADAS) hace que la pantalla muestre el número y/o el nombre de quien realiza una llamada antes de descolgarse el teléfono. Para poder utilizar esta función, DEBERÁ CONTRATAR PREVIAMENTE EL SERVICIO DE IDENTIFICACIÓN DE LLAMADAS ofrecido por la compañía telefónica de su localidad. El nombre del servicio puede variar, dependiendo de la compañía telefónica.
