Advanced settings
1. Display the menu with MENU.
2. Select Sound with
/ and press OK to access.
3. Select one of the following items with
/ and press OK to access.
MPX / Digital Audio Preference / SPDIF Selection / HDMI Input
4. Set with
/ and press OK to store.
MPX
Selects multiplex sound mode (if available).
Stereo:
Use this normally.
Mono:
When stereo signal cannot be received
M1 / M2:
Available while mono signal is transmitted
For Analogue TV
When you receive the stereo / bilingual sound system, sound output modes
can be selected by using the MPX in the Sound Menu.
Meanings of mode indicators
: STEREO
: MAIN I
: SUB II
: MONO
Available mode indicator for each type of broadcast
NICAM - Used in New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.
Regular broadcast (Standard Audio): No indicator /
Regular + NICAM MONO I (MAIN I): /

A2 (German) - Used in Australia, Malaysia, etc.
