In order to use AirPlay 2, CRESCENT needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
If CRESCENT is already connected to the Wi-Fi network via the Google Home app, AirPlay 2 is ready to use.
If not, please go to Settings > Wi-Fi on your iOS device and look for Cleer_CRESCENT_XXXX in the Set Up New Device
section to set up CRESCENT for AirPlay 2.
To use AirPlay
1. Open Control Center:
• On iPhone X or later or iPad with iOS 12 or later: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
• On iPhone 8 or earlier or iOS 11 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen.
2. Press and hold the audio card in the upper-right corner, then tap AirPlay .
3. Tap CRESCENT.
4. You can also AirPlay audio from an app you're using on your iOS device. Just open the app, tap AirPlay , then tap
CRESCENT.
* The name for CRESCENT is assigned during the Wi-Fi setup.
** CRESCENT can support audio streaming but not video streaming.
Play music with Chromecast
1. Open the Chromecast enabled app.
2. Tap the Cast button .
3. Select CRESCENT as your Chromecast device from the device list.
4. Select a song, album, or playlist.
5. Tap Play.
Playback with Chromecast Set up CRESCENT to activate AirPlay 2
