Installing a Bluetooth Modem
Installation procedure for computers with Bluetooth modem and wireless LAN module.
1. Turn the computer OFF.
2. Remove the keyboard (page 2 - 11), shielding plate (page 2 - 12) and modem (page 2 - 15).
3. Connect the modem cable and the shorter antenna cable to the Bluetooth modem combo module .
4. Connect the longer antenna cable to the wireless LAN “MAIN” socket (see “802.11b+g Wireless LAN Installa-
tion Sequence” on page C - 3 or “802.11a+b+g Wireless LAN Installation Sequence” on page C - 4).
5. Carefully place the combo module on the modem connector of the mainboard and secure screws - .
6. Replace the shielding plate (page 2 - 12) and keyboard (page 2 - 11) by reversing the disassembly procedure.
