II Health Hazard Data III Hazardous Ingredients
CORROSIVE to the eyes. Injures eyes, skin, and mucous membranes on
contact. Harmful if swallowed. Nausea, vomiting, and burning sensation of
the mouth and throat may occur. No adverse health effects are expected
with recommended use. Occasional clinical reports suggest a low potential
for sensitization upon exaggerated exposure to sodium hypochlorite if skin
damage (e.g. irritation) occurs during exposure. However, clinical tests
conducted on intact skin using a product similar to Clorox® Outdoor Bleach
found no sensitization in the test subjects.
Although not expected, heart conditions or chronic respiratory problems
such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, or obstructive lung disease may be
aggravated by exposure to high concentrations of vapor or mist.
FIRST AID:
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. If
irritation persists, call a doctor.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush skin with water.
If irritation persists, call a doctor.
INGESTION: Drink a glassful of water. DO NOT induce vomiting.
Immediately contact a doctor or poison control center.

develop, call a doctor.
