The breathing in of solvent proportions above the value of M. W. C.-value can lead to health
damages, such as irritating mucous membranes and respiratory organs, kidney and liver damages as
well as to the impairment of the central nervous system. Signs and symptoms: Headache, dizziness
and tiredness, myasthenia, numbing effect and also unconsciousness in exceptional cases. Longer
and repeated skin contact can lead to drying out the skin or to skin irritations, respectively. Solvent
splashes can lead to eye irritations and reversible damages. In such cases a physician should be
consulted at once.
