7-7.4. MAC ID 
▫  MAC ID is connecting address for Ethernet, every unit has 12 digit addresses (HEX 6 byte). 
MAC ID was already assigned with the factory default value. User can not change it. 
7-7.5. MNS (MAC NAME SERVER) 
As a sort of DDNS, two servers in our company (CLOVER) are being operated so that our 
client can access DVR with a Dynamic IP address. If one of servers stops operating, the 
other one will automatically start working.   
▫ Click the MNS button in the NETWORK menu with a mouse or buttons on the remote 
  controller and then the MNS window will show up as below (See 
Fig.7-99). 
▫  To return to the NETWORK window, click the    (EXIT) button in the MNS menu. 
▫  DISABLE / ENABLE 
You can select the DISABLE or ENABLE button on both SERVER 1 and SERVER 2 by 
clicking the mouse or pressing the ENTER button on the remote controller.     
“DISABLE”: MSN (MAC NAME SERVER) is not working. 
“ENABLE”: MSN (MAC NAME SERVER) is working.
