In case this menu item is deactivated only the image is frozen after
pressing PAUSE.
The time shift recording is not permanently saved on HDD:
2. Selecting a different channel or stopping the recording will cancel the
time shift recording.

Select skipping steps in playback mode with the skip buttons.

Time shifting for recording
Activate/deactivate time shift function to record programs.
Record subtitles
With this function activated the subtitles (if broadcast) are recorded as
well.
