Formatting removable disc drive
Format the drive afresh, if you are facing problems in reading or writing in the
memory. However, this happens most rarely.
In general, a fast formatting can be undertaken by erasing files in the memory.
Before formatting , follow the following steps:
• Connect the player at the USB port of the computer.
• Create backup copies of your files in the player.
Formatting
1. Connect the player at the USB port of the computer.
2. Double-click on “My Computer” and select “Removable disc drive”.
3. Right click on “removable disc drive” to select “formatting”.
4. Click on “Start”.
5. In the opened window, click “OK”.
6. The formatting begins.
7. After formatting, click “OK” again.
8. To exit formatting, click “close”.
Caution: Remember that while formatting all files gets lost.
