Impregnated with high-
strength resin under extreme
pressure, making it extremely
durable and chemical
resistant.
METAL
Either aluminum or stainless
steel, with a secure grip that
comes from surface texturing.
Using only High-Carbon stainless steels, COAST blades are
designed for hardness and durability. By treating the blades
both with heat and severe cold (-320 degrees Fahrenheit / -195
degrees Celsius), the toughness is even further guaranteed.
COAST does not simply use the same steels for all of the blades
though. Each blade is carefully crafted to suit the intended uses.

Higher carbon grades of stainless steel are found in hunting and
military blades for longer edge retention, while hardworking and
everyday blades will sharpen more easily.
