What you will need:
BUY YARN
Pillows are especially good at
helping your body to find the perfect
comfort position. This pillow pattern is also
easy enough to use for knitting to relax,
as the pattern is extra easy!
Pillows are 20" [51 cm] square.
PILLOW COVER
Using the long-tail cast on method, cast
on 17 sts.
Row 1 (Right Side): *K1, p1; repeat from
* across.
Rows 2-3: Continue to work in k1, p1
ribbing.
Change to St st (knit on right side, purl
on wrong side).
Work in St st until piece measures 39½”
(100 cm) from cast on.
Work k1, p1 ribbing for next 2 rows.
Bind off in k1, p1 ribbing.
FINISHING
With right sides facing, overlap rib
sections of back cover. With yarn
needle, sew side seams of pillow, sewing
through three layers of fabric when you
reach the rib sections.
With yarn needle, weave in all loose
ends.
Turn pillow right side out. With sewing
needle and thread, sew buttons to
bottom rib section starting at one side
and placing buttons 3½” (9 cm) apart.
Insert pillow form and button the cover,
slipping buttons through top rib sts to
close.
