Installation Pneumatic Connection Connect air intake to a compressed air system with a working pressure of 120-150 PSI. Use a compressed air hose with an inside diameter of 1/4” - 3/8”. 3. Mark two hole locations and use a size F (0.257") or size G (0.261") drill bit to the drill holes. Choose the LIFT MOUNTING BRACKET fastener hole locations that are farthest apart from each other. CAUTION Make sure air hose is free of the BASE TRACK area.
8. Locate the black hose attached to the valve and feed it out the hole at the bottom of the TOWER ASSEMBLY. Prepare the hose end for connection to the main air supply by inserting a 1/4" straight fitting into the hose end and secure using a hose clamp. 14. Re-insert the pivot bolt to assemble WHEEL TRAY to LIFT ARM BRACKET on the TOWER ASSEMBLY. It is tight, but will slide into place by hand. Do not use a hammer. 9. Connect to air supply.
Operation WARNING ALWAYS make sure the 575 Tire Lift is not touching the wheel assembly before using the wheel balancer. Personal injury or damage to the unit could result. CAUTION Do not put your hand on the top of the wheel during operation. Your hand could be pinched between the wheel and the TOWER ASSEMBLY. CAUTION Before moving the WHEEL TRAY, make sure the BASE TRACK area is clear of debris. 575 Heavy Duty Lift Operation 1. Use HANDGRIP to slide the WHEEL TRAY back away from the balancer. 2.
Routine Maintenance The Coats 575 Tire Lift requires minimal maintenance to ensure correct functional performance and smooth operation. Keep the BASE TRACK area that the CARRIAGE INSERT slides on clean and clear of debris. Wheel weights, debris, and hand tools can get caught between the track.
