What you will need:
BUY YARN
Get on trend with a soft faux fur scarf that
will make you feel so pampered that you’d
wear it even if it wasn’t so stylish. This knit
scarf features a keyhole for easy neckline
adjustment. It’s perfect for last minute gifts!
Scarf measures 6" wide x 42" long [15 x
106.5 cm].
Notes
1. Scarf is worked back and forth in
rows.
2. Beginning and end of scarf are
shaped and a keyhole opening is
made near end of scarf.
Special Stitch
kfb (Knit into front and back) = Knit
next stitch but do not remove from
needle, knit into back loop of same
stitch and remove from needle.
SCARF
Cast on 3 sts.
Shape Beginning of Scarf
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2 (increase row): [Kfb] twice, k1—5
sts.
Row 3: Knit.
Row 4 (increase row): Kfb, k2, kfb, k1—7
sts.
Work in Garter st (knit every row) until
piece measures about 33" [84 cm] from
beginning.
Keyhole
Row 1: K2, k2tog, [yarn over] twice,
k3—8 loops on needle.
Row 2: K3, drop the first loop of
the double yarn over then knit the
remaining loop, k3—7 sts.
Work in Garter st for 4" [10 cm].
Shape End of Scarf
Row 1 (decrease row): K2tog, k3,
k2tog—5 sts.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3 (decrease row): K2tog, k1,
k2tog—3 sts.
Row 4: Knit.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
