Installing a PCI expansion card
The PCI slot provides the following voltages:
• +5V @ 1A
• +12V @ 0.5A
• -12V @ 0.1A
Ensure that the card that you are installing is compatible with the power budget
of the PCI slot.
1. Power down and remove the RaQ XTR from the equipment rack by
reversing the installation procedure in Chapter 2.
2. Place the RaQ XTR on a stable, flat surface.
3. Remove the mounting brackets from each side of the chassis. Each bracket is
attached to the chassis with four screws (see Figure 108).

Note: The PCI expansion slot accommodates the PCI standard
short-card form factor. The PCI card must be less than 6.875 inches
(174.63 mm) long.

Caution: The chassis contains electrostatic-sensitive components.
Observe proper ESD precautions whenever the RaQ XTR’s cover is
removed.
