Channel setup

Parameter Description

Channel Mode To select the channel table for the primary channel. Channel

tables available: INT, BI, US, CA, ALT. See also VHF

channel table on page 15.

Bandwidth Selection of the bandwidth for the fixed pre-programmed

channels. This is recommended from Radio Regulations:

Wide: Wide band is 25kHz channel bandwidth (default)

Narrow: Narrow band defines a channel bandwidth of

12.5kHz

Channel number display in narrow band mode:

• 2xx if the channel frequency is outside the wideband

frequency grid.

• 4xx if the channel frequency is on the wideband grid.

Call Channel Select the channel you want to use as a programmed call

channel. This channel is used as one channel in triple watch

and when you make a long press on the 16/C button.

INT. Channels You can view the channel

settings. Press the soft key

to advance the channel

numbers.

Bandwidth: WIDE (default) or

NARROW

Tagged for scan: OFF (default)

or ON

Edit the service line text by pressing the selector wheel and

enter new name by wheel or keypad.

For customizing, contact your authorized dealer.

Press the soft key EXIT to return to CHANNEL SETUP.
