54 Troubleshooting guide
Replacing the fuse in the power connector
One fuse is installed in the power connector. If the fuse is blown, do as
follows:
1. Track down why the fuse was blown and solve the problem.
2. Take out the old fuse.

If any of the checks and tests described in this
section do not assist in resolving the difficulties
experienced in the operation and/or performance
of the VHF installation, a fault may have
developed in the VHF radio itself.
When contacting an authorized Thrane & Thrane
representative be sure to provide as much
information as possible describing the observed
behavior - also including the type of the VHF
radio, its serial number, and software release
version (both found in the setup menu Controller
Setup).

supply status
cannot be
monitored.
In Setup, Power Supply, set Monitor to disabled.
You can only monitor the power supply if the
radio is powered by a SAILOR 6081 Power Supply
Unit and Charger.
