installing
an
external
GPS
using
the
supplied
GPS
Interface
Cable,
please
note
that
on
page
23
of
your
manual,
the
wiring
colors
noted
are
reversed.
The
stated
wiring
notes
that
the
NMEA
0183
+DATA
IN
wire
color
is
YELLOW,
the
correct
wire
color
is
GREEN.
Also
stated
is
the
NMEA
0183
-DATA
IN
wire
color
is
GREEN,
the
correct
wire
color
is
YELLOW.
To
connect
your
Cobra
Marine
Radio
to
an
external
GPS,
connect
using
the
following
wiring
colors:
1.
NMEA
0183
+DATA
IN,
Connect
to
the
GREEN
wire.
2.
NMEA
0183
-
DATA
IN,
Connect
to
the
YELLOW
wire.
This
notice
does
not
apply
to
connecting
the
CM
300-005
Cobra
Positioning
System
external
GPS
(you
can
just
plug
it
in
and
start
receiving
valid
GPS
signals).
