ASSEMBLY 5.1 FOLDING THE HANDLE 1. Fix the lower handlebars onto the mower body with bolts, washers with a suitable spanner. (Fig. 1A/Fig.1B) 2. Release the upper handlebars for folding. 3.
5.2 ASSEMBLE THE GRASS CATCHER Drop the cloth bag through the metal bracket, open up the reinforced rim on the three sides by hand or using a screwdriver. Fig. 4 5.5 Rear Roller Your mower features a rear roller, which helps cut right up to the edge of borders and creates a traditional striped lawn finish. It is recommended to alternate the direction of mowing periodically, to improve turf growth. Vary the height of cut depending on the lawn and weather conditions. When starting a warm engine and operating, turn throttle choke lever to “ ” position. (Fig.6C) 4. Standing behind the mower grasp the brake control handle and hold it against the upper handle as shown in (Fig.6D) 5. Grasp the starter handle and pull up rapidly. Do not start the engine when standing in front of the discharge opening. 6.3 OPERATION PROCEDURES During operation, tightly hold the brake handle with both hands. Note: During operation, when the brake handle is released, the engine will stop and thus stop the lawnmower from operating. 6.4 TO STOP ENGINE CAUTION: The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the engine is shut off. 1. Release the brake control handle to stop the engine and blade. 2.

WARNING: If the mower blade strikes a foreign object, then stop the engine. Remove the wire from the spark plug, thoroughly inspect the mower for any damage and repair the damage before restarting and operating the mower. Extensive vibration of the mower during operation is an indication of serious damage. The unit should be promptly inspected and repaired. 6.
1. Stop mower and disconnect the spark plug cable before changing the mower cutting height. 2. The central height adjustment lever offers you 6 different height positions. 3. To change the height of cut, pull the adjuster lever away from the engine out of the slots and then move either up or down to select the required height of cut. Push the lever back into the slot to secure. 7. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS SPARK PLUG Use only the original replacement spark plug.
WARNING: Periodically inspect the blade adapter for cracks, especially if you strike a foreign object. Replace when necessary. For best results your blade should be sharp. The blade may be re-sharpened by removing it and either grinding or filing the cutting edge, keeping it as close to the original bevel as possible. It is extremely important that each cutting edge receives an equal amount of grinding to prevent an unbalanced blade.
The starter battery is maintenance-free and is normally charged by the lawnmower. In certain cases, however, the battery will need to be charged by the user: 1. before the initial start-up of the lawnmower. 2. If discharged, before the winter season, or if left unused for long periods (> 6 months). Charging procedure: 1. Insert the charger cable fully to the charging hole. (Fig.13) 2. Connect the charger to the mains supply. The mains voltage must match the operating voltage of the charger. 3.
CAUTION! The engine must have completely cooled down before storing the lawnmower. NOTE: - When storing any type of power equipment in an unventilated or material storage shed, care should be taken to rust-proof the equipment. Using a light oil or silicone, coat the equipment, especially cables and all moving parts. - Be careful not to bend or kink cables. - If the starter rope becomes disconnected from the rope guide on the handle, disconnect and ground the spark plug wire.
12. TROUBLES SHOOTING PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION Engine does not start. Throttle choke not in the correct position for the prevailing conditions. Move throttle choke to the correct position Fuel tank is empty. Fill the tank with fuel: refer to the ENGINE MANUAL. Air filter element is dirty. Clean air filter element: refer to the ENGINE MANUAL Spark plug loose. Tighten spark plug to 25-30Nm. Spark plug wire loose or disconnected from the plug. Install spark plug wire on spark plug.
13. WARRANTY This product is warranted in accordance with legal regulations for a 24 month period effective from the date of purchase by the first user. This product will not be covered if used in a commercial application.
