Upgrading Your PMP Firmware
Download the latest rmware for your PMP from
www.cobyusa.com. Save this le to
the computer.
Connect your PMP to the computer. Double-click the Removable Icon that corresponds
to your PMP, and then double-click the FIRMWARE folder to open it.
Double-click the downloaded rmware le (you may need a le compression utility in

stalled on your computer). In the window that appears, select the le named “UPDATE.
BST” and copy it to your PMP’s root folder (for example, E:\).
Disconnect your PMP from the computer.
Press and hold to turn the PMP off, and then turn it back on. The PMP will update its
rmware automatically.
Do not disconnect your PMP from the computer or otherwise interrupt the
rmware upgrade —doing so could damage your PMP and render it inoper-
able.
