Without a network (internet) connection, you can set time manually.
6. CD Database (Music DB)
6-1. What is the CD database (Music DB) of the X10 ?
The Music DB is a database of the music loaded (ripped) to the X10 (onto the HDD), you can edit
the CD information of each track such as the title, album, artist, year and genre, that are stored in
the Music DB. You can search any of your music easily by title, album, artist, year or genre.
When the X10 is connected to the internet/network the CD information can be retrieved from the
FreeDB database on the internet. A USB keyboard or the supplied remote control can be used to
edit the tag information of the CD (which you may find incorrect or incomplete) that will
eventually be stored on the X10 Music DB.
TIP If you want to use an USB keyboard, ensure its connected to the X10 before the
device is powered ON.
6-2. What is FreeDB ?
FreeDB is a database used to look up CD information using the network(internet). This is done by
the X10 (using a FreeDB aware application) that calculates a (nearly) unique disc ID for a CD

confirm it with the OK button.
Input your time manually and select OK to confirm it with
OK button.

X10 displays the time while playing the internet radio.
Pressing the CLOCK key displays time.
X10 can display one of two ways, AM/PM or 24Hours. You
can select which here.
