Note: Selecting “NEW PROGRAM” will also reset the OPTIONS selected to their default
settings except for the LOCK and AUDIO settings which must be changed manually.
Infusion Complete
When the infusion is complete, the following screen will display:
Variable Infusion Complete
This screen displays:
1 “INFUSION COMPLETE.”
2 A graphic representation (completely filled in bar graph) indicating infusion complete, or the
smaller “dot” configuration (shown here) if a KVO RATE is programmed.
3 TOT Vol (Total Volume): If units are mg or mcg, this field will also toggle to give the Total
Infused.
4 KVO Rate: The preset KVO rate displays.
5 Infusion Complete is considered an alarm status, and the audio alarm will beep periodically
(every 3 seconds if there is no KVO, every 20 minutes if there is a KVO) to alert the user to
this condition. Additionally, the LED lights blink to alert you to the status of the pump. The
green light blinks when the KVO rate is infusing (if one is programmed) and the red light
blinks to indicate that the “Infusion Complete” alarm exists.
Stopping the Infusion
To halt the infusion at “Infusion Complete”, press the “PAUSE” key and then choose to either:
1 Turn off the pump by pressing the “OFF” key, or
2 Select one of the options from the “Pause” screen:

3 REPEAT Rx: To repeat the present therapy and add another IV bag with the same
prescription, press the “YES/ENTER” key at this field. If more than one therapy is
programmed, a “Select Therapy Screen” will list all preprogrammed therapies. Select which
therapy to repeat by moving the cursor to the therapy of choice and pressing the
“YES/ENTER” key.
