FUNCTIONS

A) PRIVATE USE
Important Note: This is the default
function and is already
pre-programmed in new locks.
Thisisthemostcommonfunction
andisusedwherethesame code
will be repeatedly used.
B) PUBLIC USE
Theuserenterstheirownpersonal
four-digitcode.Thislocksthelock.
Thesamecodeisenteredtoopenthe
lockbeforebeingerasedandready
forthenextnewuser.
Thisfunctionisusedforshortterm,
multioccupancyapplications,
e.g.alockerinaleisurecentre.
TheKitLock1200hasa10button
keypadanda#bar.
The #barisonlyusedforprogramming
functionswhenlockisinA)PrivateUse

LOST CODE PROCEDURE

twice,releasethe5button.Within
threesecondspressthe5button

BATTERY FAILURE OVERRIDE
TheKitLockhasbeendesignedsoan
externalPP3batterycanbeplacedagainst
theexternalcontactsbeneaththehandle
sothatthelockcanbeopenedtoreplace
batteriesshouldtheyfail.
THE PROCEDURE IS AS FOLLOWS:
•PlacethecontactpointsofthePP3
batteryagainstthecontactpoints
atthebaseofthelock,makingfirm
maintainedcontact.
•Thepositive+PP3terminalagainstthe
+contactonthelock,andthenegative
–PP3terminalagainstthenegative
contactonthelock.Seeimage.
•EntertheMasterCode.
•Thelockwillnowwithdrawthelocking
pinallowingthelocktoopen.
•Fitnewbatteriesbyremovingthelock
fromthedoor.Refitthelock.
Everyprogramcommandmustcommence
bypressingthe#barwheninA)Private
UseFunction(factorydefault),followedby
eithertheMasterCode,Sub-MasterCode
orUserCode.
•WheninB)PublicUseFunction
the#barisnotrequiredfor
programming.Ensurelockis
freeofUserCode.
•Ifnecessarythe#barmaybe
usedtoclearapreviousentryif
amistakeismade.
