10. Push the On/Off switch to turn on the appliance. The power
light turns on as soon as the brewing process begins.
Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!
❐ Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
❐ Always allow the appliance to cool off before you clean it.
❐ Never immerse the appliance, the mains cord or plug in water and never rinse them off
under running water.
❐ When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage the
surface.
1. Ensure that the appliance is switched off, disconnected from the power supply and that it
has cooled off.
2. Open the water tank lid and take out the removable fi lter
insert and the permanent fi lter.
3. Dispose of the leftover coffee grounds.
4. Clean the removable fi lter insert, the permanent and the insulated fl asks in warm water
and with a mild detergent.
5. When needed, wipe the housing off with a damp cloth and if necessary, use a small amount
of mild detergent.
6. Let all parts dry completely before you prepare the appliance for use again.
