WARNING—SHOCK HAZARD AND STATIC DISCHARGE:
Never operate the printer in a location where it can get wet. Personal injury could result.
The discharge of electrostatic energy that accumulates on the surface of the human body or other
surfaces can damage or destroy the printhead or electronic components used in this device. DO
NOT TOUCH the printhead or the electronic components under the printhead carriage.
CAUTION—PRINTER SETUP AND HANDLING
When installing or modifying the printer setup or configuration, ALWAYS TURN THE POWER OFF
before: (1) connecting any cables, (2) performing any cleaning or maintenance
operations, or (3) moving the printer.
EUROPEAN COMPLIANCE:
This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio
interference in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures.
CISPR22
: The C Series printer meets applicable requirements for Emissions & Immunity.
RoHS COMPLIANCE: Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of the Use of certain Hazardous
Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). The C Series printer is RoHS compliant
as of July 1, 2006.
FCC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY:
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used
in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communica-
tions. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in
which case the user will be required to correct the interference at the user’s own expense.
