PRINTER SETUP

VARIABLE ENERGY

Function The printer maintains a fixed energy density of 200

mJoules independent of print speed. This command

adjusts the energy density (in units of mJoules). It

is intended to be used to compensate for media that

requires more or less energy to create images of the

proper optical density. VARIABLE DARKNESS

may be used by the customer, but this command is

intended to be an easier to use, more precise optical

density control command for the C-series printer.
