ETHETNET PRINTER INFORMATION

VARIABLE ETHERNET BOOTP

Function Starts up the printer by reading configuration

information from the server.

VARIABLE ETHERNET BOOTP status

Implicit Form

V ETHERNET BOOTP status

Parameters status = Bootp enabled or disabled; ON or OFF.

The default is ON.

Example

VARIABLE ETHERNET BOOTP ON

Note: The Advantage LX and Del Sol models uses this command to control its

DHCP protocol. All other printer models that have this command when BOOTP

is enabled (ON) will use the BOOTP protocol to configure the printer’s Ethernet

settings after a power-cycle.
