Introduction
Thank you for choosing Cognitive. We appreciate your
business, and hope that you make us your one source for
bar-code printers, media, and supplies. To assure your
complete satisfaction, we offer:
• Reliable quality: Our media is designed and
manufactured to give you outstanding print quality. All
Cognitive media is made from the finest materials for
guaranteed printing, adhesion, and overall application
performance.
• Friendly service: Our motto is “Serve Our
Customers”. We will do everything in our power to help
you with your application or with your order to make sure
you are completely satisfied. If there is a problem, we
will work to get it resolved quickly because we know
your reputation (and ours) is at stake!
• Free Samples: We always recommend that you
test samples of media before ordering or applying labels
in large quantities. We will happily supply you with free
samples (standard media when available or raw materials
if application is unique) for your examination and testing.
• Plus, our media is the only media specifically
designed for use in Cognitive printers. The dimensions,
thermal sensitivity, and indexing cues of our label and
tag media consistently give you the finest print quality
and performance available.

Custom Ordering Requirements
• To order Cognitive products, please fax a completed
and signed purchase order to Cognitive's Customer
Service Group at [phone].
• Payment terms are considered for customers who
complete a Credit Application. Payment terms are
established upon review and approval by Cognitive's
Accounting department.
• We gladly accept most major credit cards including
MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
• Minimum order amount: $100 for standard media
and supplies, $300 for customs.
• 20% restocking fee applicable on orders of standard
media and supplies returned to Cognitive. Contact
Customer Service for RMA number. Custom media
cannot be returned.

• Larger orders may be subject to longer lead times.
Standard Practices
• Warranty: All Cognitive media (except items with
removable adhesive) is guaranteed to be free from
defects of materials and workmanship for a period of one
year (6 months for items with removable adhesive). We
do not warrant our materials as to usability or suitability,
and we are not responsible for losses arising from the
use or misuse of our products. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that
vary from state to state.
• Adhesives: Our adhesives are designed for most
general purpose applications. Call us if you need special
adhesives for use at extreme temperatures or in other
challenging environments. Remember, we will gladly
send you samples to test - we much prefer investing a
little time and minimal expense up front by sending
samples to ensure the correct material for the application
versus the eventual expense of having to redo the order.
• Tolerances: We guarantee our media to be within
0.02” of the specified dimensions.
• Customs: Challenging environments demand the
use of special materials. We can custom convert a
variety of synthetic materials depending on your
application. Tell us about your application and we’ll
recommend a solution that will give you water, chemical,
heat, cold temp, or abrasion resistance; or whatever it is
your application demands. Let us know too, if you have
a special size or shape you’re looking for, we should be
able to accommodate.
